CBS omits Trump crypto clash from 60 Minutes

CBS cut a heated exchange from President Donald Trump’s 60 Minutes interview, omitting his angry response to questions about pardoning crypto billionaire Changpeng “CZ” Zhao and his boast about money he said the show’s parent company paid him. The full back-and-forth appears only in a transcript on 60 Minutes Overtime. In the aired segment, Trump said he had “no idea” who CZ was before the topic shifted; the transcript shows him touting U.S. crypto leadership. A voiceover noted World Liberty Financial denied involvement, and the TV broadcast also left out his $16 million Paramount boast.
