Minnesota Man Charged in Bondi TikTok Threat

Federal authorities arrested a Minnesota man after a TikTok post threatened Attorney General Pam Bondi with what appeared to be a $45,000 bounty, an FBI affidavit says. Reported Oct. 9 by a Detroit user, the post showed Bondi’s photo with a sniper-scope red dot and text reading 'WANTED ... DEAD OR ALIVE (PREFERABLY DEAD),' plus the caption '*cough cough* when they don't serve us then what?' Agents traced the account to Tyler Maxon Avalos, 30, of St. Paul, citing anarchist themes and his prior convictions. He appeared before a magistrate in Minneapolis and was released on a personal recognizance bond.
