Dept. of Homeland Security considering replacing senior leaders at ICE

Law enforcement officials say the Trump administration is weighing replacing up to 12 ICE field office directors in the coming days with Customs and Border Protection leaders, a bid to boost deportations. The potential shake-up, affecting offices from Los Angeles to Philadelphia, is being driven by adviser Corey Lewandowski, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and Commander at Large Greg Bovino. A federal judge summoned Bovino over allegations he may have ignored a court order, even as senior DHS leaders praise him. A DHS spokeswoman said there are no personnel changes to announce yet, but called the team focused on results.
