60 Minutes aired a sharply shortened version of its 90-minute interview with Donald Trump, broadcasting about 28 minutes and posting a 73-minute extended cut and full transcript online. The edits drew notice because CBS settled Trump’s earlier editing lawsuit for $16m; the deal requires releasing transcripts and included no apology or admission. In unaired clips, Trump touted the payout, praised new Paramount ownership and editor in chief Bari Weiss, repeated 2020 election claims, and pressed Norah O’Donnell about DC crime, adding, “You don’t have to use that one.”
