UK stabbing suspect named, charged with attempted murder

Police charged Anthony Williams, 32, of Peterborough, with 10 counts of attempted murder after a stabbing on a train at Huntingdon station Saturday night. He also faces charges of actual bodily harm and possessing a bladed article, plus additional counts tied to a Nov. 1 incident at Pontoon Dock in east London. Superintendent John Loveless said officers arrested the suspect within eight minutes; a second man was released after investigators found he was not involved. Eleven people were hospitalized, with two in critical condition. Police said no sign of terrorism. Prime Minister Keir Starmer called the attack deeply concerning.
