Vance Criticizes Pritzker, Defends Homan, Plans Litigation

Vice President JD Vance, on ABC’s “This Week,” stopped short of accusing Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker of a crime but said Pritzker violated his oath by opposing the administration’s plan to send National Guard troops to Chicago to aid ICE. Pritzker fired back, calling the threats unconstitutional and saying, “Come and get me,” while citing falling violent crime. Vance said the White House will litigate after a federal judge barred Guard deployments to the city. He also defended border czar Tom Homan amid a shuttered FBI bribery probe, saying there’s no evidence of illegal conduct.
