Police probe stabbings on London bound train

A London-bound train turned into a scene of panic Saturday evening when multiple people were stabbed after departing Peterborough, prompting a rapid response at Huntingdon station. British Transport Police said officers boarded within eight minutes, using a Taser to detain a suspect with a large knife; a second man arrested was later released. Eleven people sought hospital care; by Sunday, only one — a railway staff member lauded as heroic — remained in life-threatening condition.
