Biden is receiving radiation and hormone therapy for his prostate cancer

Former President Joe Biden, 82, is undergoing radiation and hormone therapy in a new phase of treatment for prostate cancer diagnosed after he left office, aide Kelly Scully said Saturday. His postpresidential office previously disclosed the disease had spread to his bone and carries a Gleason score of 9, indicating an aggressive form. Biden left office in January after dropping his reelection bid six months earlier, following a disastrous debate against Republican Donald Trump amid concerns about his age, health and mental fitness. Trump later defeated Democrat Kamala Harris.
