AG launches portal after Chinatown ICE raid

New York Attorney General Letitia James opened a public portal to collect photos and videos of ICE activity after a joint federal crackdown in Chinatown, pledging to review submissions for unlawful questioning, detention, or intimidation. The Canal Street operation targeted counterfeit-goods crime, DHS said; vendors were seen packing up as officers moved in. Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons said New York will see increased, intelligence-driven arrests and cited nine arrests with lengthy records. City Hall and the NYPD said they had no involvement.
