LANSING, Ill. — This week Odin White submitted a sunset photograph taken at Wentworth and Glenwood-Lansing Road; last week Dave Franklin submitted a photograph showing a hole in overcast skies at Ridge Road; and Joyce Dykstra submitted patriotic photos taken near Roy and Illinois and Ridge Road celebrating America's 250th birthday. This week The Lansing Journal published the three reader-submitted images in its Seen Around Lansing series, credited the photographers and listed locations, and invited further submissions via email. The paper also promoted its Published Photographer merchandise on TeePublic and encouraged readers to continue sending photos to build community and share local scenes.
