Amazon MGM Studios has tapped Steven Knight, creator of Peaky Blinders, to write the script for the next James Bond film. Denis Villeneuve will direct. The announcement follows Amazon's acquisition of MGM and its subsequent gaining of creative control over the franchise. While a director is confirmed, the casting of the next Bond remains undecided, with the focus currently on script development.
