What we know about first fatal Boeing Dreamliner crash

A Boeing 787 Dreamliner operated by Air India crashed in Ahmedabad, India, shortly after takeoff, killing nearly all 242 passengers and crew. The plane, en route to London, reached only 625 feet before plummeting. Investigators will examine various factors, including maintenance records, pilot actions, weather conditions, and the plane's black boxes. While Boeing has faced past issues with the Dreamliner model, experts currently suggest a manufacturing defect is unlikely, though a final report won't be available for some time. Ground fatalities are also reported.
