The United States Department of Justice has filed a motion in the District Court for the District of Columbia seeking a summary judgment that would remand the Department of the Interior’s approval of the Revolution Wind offshore wind project.

The request follows a series of court rulings that allowed construction to resume in January two years ago after a stop‑work order was overturned. The Trump administration argues that the approval was granted without adequate environmental review and that the project threatens marine ecosystems.

If granted, the remand would halt the final commissioning stage, delaying the project’s expected full output by the end of this year. The move reflects a broader policy shift toward stricter scrutiny of large renewable energy developments.

After a rough start to the 2026 season, ten NFL head coaches find themselves on the hot seat, with job security hanging in the balance. The Houston Texans’ DeMeco Ryans, who began the year with a 1‑4 record, has seen his position questioned after a decisive 26‑3 win over the Titans.

Meanwhile, the New York Jets’ Aaron Glenn, whose team sits at 5‑17, remains under scrutiny despite a recent 17‑12 victory that snapped a three‑game skid. Tennessee’s Robert Saleh faces pressure after a 0‑5 start, while Dallas’ Brian Schottenheimer announced defensive changes following a loss to the Buccaneers.

These developments underscore the volatile nature of coaching in the NFL, where early performance can dictate a coach’s fate. The stakes are high as teams prepare for pivotal matchups that could determine whether these coaches survive the season or face replacement.

Federal Reserve Vice Chair Michelle Bowman announced on Wednesday that the central bank has time to keep rates steady while farmers grapple with rising debt. The statement came after the Fed’s September meeting, where it raised the federal funds target range to three‑point‑seventy‑five percent through four‑percent, its first hike in three years.

Bowman noted that the committee remains committed to fighting inflation, yet signals that further increases may wait until December. U.S.

farmers, already burdened by high borrowing costs, face a tightening credit environment that could slow crop investment and expansion. The Fed’s cautious stance aims to balance inflation control with the agricultural sector’s need for stable financing.
