Troy Aikman, former Dallas Cowboys quarterback, confirmed he will leave ESPN after the 2026 season, saying he looks forward to his next landing spot. The announcement came during a 96.7 The Ticket interview in Dallas, where he addressed tension with on‑air partner Joe Buck.

Aikman declined to discuss the dispute but indicated he will remain on Monday Night Football through the Super Bowl before becoming a free agent. The move follows Buck’s new five‑year contract and the growing speculation that Aikman’s partnership may end.

ESPN will broadcast its first‑ever Super Bowl, making the timing of Aikman’s departure a focal point for fans and analysts alike. Aikman’s decision may influence future hiring practices and the balance of on‑air personalities in NFL coverage.

Critics praise its stunning OLED display, upgraded controls, and powerful hardware, noting it sets a new standard for handheld PC gaming. However, the $1,299 price tag and unchanged processor draw criticism, with reviewers calling it a luxury gamble.

The device’s release has already begun to shape discussions about the future of Windows‑based handhelds and the balance between premium features and affordability.

White House press secretary Katie Zacharia did not pass the California bar exam after graduating from Pepperdine Law in two thousand eleven, according to a senior administration official. President Donald Trump referred to her as an “attorney” in a Truth Social post, sparking questions about her legal qualifications.

Several lawyers clarified that the term “lawyer” generally requires a passed bar exam and a license to practice. The State Bar of California and the D.C. Bar have not confirmed any investigation, while the Democracy Defenders Fund has urged California Attorney General Rob Bonta to examine potential unauthorized practice.

The controversy highlights the importance of accurate professional titles in public office. The White House has yet to clarify whether Zacharia has obtained a license in any state. Legal experts note that only Chinese citizens may sit for the Chinese bar exam, and Zacharia has claimed to have practiced law in China.

The Plaza Hotel, a Midtown Manhattan landmark, will shut its doors in January for a four‑year restoration of its historic façade. The iconic Fifth Avenue property, first opened in 1907, has been a symbol of New York City’s architectural heritage for more than a century.

Officials announced the closure to address complex preservation requirements and ensure the safety of guests, employees, and the wider community. The last major shutdown occurred from 2005 to 2008 for a $450‑million lobby‑to‑roof restoration, and the hotel also closed for more than a year during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.

The upcoming project will involve detailed planning and coordination with stakeholders, though no cost or specific renovation details have yet been released. The closure is expected to begin in January 2027 and will last until the façade is fully restored.

James Talarico, the Democratic candidate for Texas Senate, announced a record‑breaking $sixty‑four million raised in the third quarter, surpassing every Senate candidate’s haul in history. This brings his total fundraising to one hundred thirty‑four million since he launched his campaign in September of two thousand twenty‑five.

The Republican challenger, Attorney General Ken Paxton, reported $eighteen million in the same period, a fraction of Talarico’s total. 2020’s Jaime Harrison set a $fifty‑seven million record in South Carolina, while Beto O’Rourke raised $thirty‑eight million in 2018 for a Texas Senate bid.

Early polls now show Talarico with a modest lead over Paxton, as the race intensifies ahead of early voting on Monday. The campaign’s financial surge comes amid a broader Democratic fundraising surge in Texas, a state that has not elected a Senate Democrat since 1988.

Jay‑Z, the U.S. billionaire rapper, has entered a betting race with Miley Cyrus over the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show.

The Polymarket market briefly gave him a sixty‑eight percent chance to headline, though the NFL has yet to name a performer. Jay‑Z’s interest in sports wagering follows his high‑profile wager on the 2025 NBA Finals that cost him one million dollars, a bet that lost after the June 11 game three.

Fans and analysts watch the unfolding drama, noting how celebrity betting could influence future entertainment contracts and fan engagement strategies. The outcome may set a precedent for how artists leverage their brand in the sports‑entertainment crossover arena.

Artificial‑intelligence shares have slipped sharply, yet broader indices remain near their recent highs.

Investors cite tightening debt and rising yields as reasons for the AI sell‑off, while defensive sectors provide support. The market’s resilience reflects a rotation away from high‑growth tech toward more stable, income‑generating stocks.

Analysts warn that the AI bubble may have peaked, but the sector’s long‑term potential remains debated. Wall Street’s mixed performance underscores the importance of diversification amid uncertain macro‑economic conditions.

Group chats pulled from Nolan Wells’ cellphone show what his friends said before and after the Mississippi teen vanished in early July following a boat outing with friends.

Wells disappeared after he and a group of friends celebrated the Fourth of July holiday off the Gulf Coast. They say he left his phone on their boat but didn’t return with them.

A nearly three‑hundred‑page report analyzing the late teen’s phone and recently uploaded on the Justice for Nolan Wells website reveals his friends’ reactions to his disappearance and speculation about his death in dozens of group chats. On July 5, one group chat discussed when Wells was last seen, saying, “He got off our boat with this other guy and they started walking back to their boat.” Minutes later, a friend called it suspicious, saying, “There is def some sus s*** going on.” The body was

In 2023, a Maryland resident began using Ozempic to manage diabetes, a drug also popular for weight loss. About four months later, he was diagnosed with non‑arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy, an eye stroke that can cause sudden vision loss.

On New Year’s Eve, 2024, he reported total blindness in one eye, and ten months later, the other eye was affected. He stopped the medication after the second loss and filed a lawsuit against Novo Nordisk, alleging the company failed to warn patients of the risk. The case joins hundreds of similar claims against GLP‑1 drugs, raising questions about safety disclosures and regulatory oversight.

The lawsuit underscores the tension between therapeutic benefits and rare but severe side effects. It also highlights the need for clearer communication from manufacturers and healthcare providers. As more patients report similar incidents, the legal and medical communities face pressure to reassess risk‑
