The new film "You Can See Everything" follows former Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes at her San Diego beachfront home during the month before her federal prison sentence in twenty‑three.

Filmmakers Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim capture Holmes and her fiancé Billy Evans—CEO of Haemanthus—living in a guest house lacking basic amenities, sparking suspicions of surveillance. The documentary includes a controversial full‑frontal shower scene of Evans, a candid interview where Holmes denies lying to investors, and a tearful reaction to a Hulu portrayal of her.

The film premiered at the Telluride Film Festival on September sixth and has since earned an R rating for graphic nudity. It offers a raw look at the personal fallout of a once‑celebrated biotech entrepreneur whose company once claimed to revolutionize blood testing.

A tragic incident unfolded at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan, where a nineteen‑year‑old student was drugged with fentanyl and subsequently raped in her dorm room. Federal prosecutors announced the case on Thursday, revealing that two men were arrested and indicted for distribution of a controlled substance and related crimes.

Moises Freire, nineteen, from the Bronx, and Brian Peralta Cabrera, eighteen, from Queens, both pleaded not guilty. The indictment details how Freire supplied the victim with a substance he claimed was pure cocaine, while secretly knowing it contained fentanyl.

After the victim fell unconscious, Freire raped her and took compromising photographs. The victim later died from complications of acute fentanyl intoxication. The case highlights ongoing concerns about campus safety and drug‑related violence in New York City.

RJ Mitte’s mother, Dyna Mitte, revealed the heartbreaking moments leading up to her son’s death. She said the weekend had been difficult and that she had tried to encourage him to seek therapy for months. On Monday morning, she called him but received no answer, and later that day she discovered him after bringing lunch.

The actor, known for playing Walter White Jr. on the acclaimed series Breaking Bad, was found dead by suicide on October twelfth. His representatives confirmed the tragic passing and urged privacy for the family.

Dyna’s interview with NBC News on Thursday offered a raw, personal perspective, noting her belief that the decision was a spur of the moment and that no notes were left behind. The story underscores the ongoing conversation about mental health and the pressures faced by public figures. It also highlights the importance of early intervention and support for

Sean John Combs, known as Diddy, was transferred to FCI Allenwood Low in Pennsylvania after a contraband cellphone was found in his possession. The move followed reports that he had been living a pampered life at FCI Fort Dix, a low‑security federal facility in New Jersey, where he had been serving a fifty‑month sentence for prostitution‑related charges.

The Bureau of Prisons confirmed the transfer on Friday, October sixteenth, noting that the reasons for the move were not disclosed. Combs’ legal team had previously advocated for his placement at Fort Dix because of its rehabilitation drug program, which could reduce an inmate’s sentence by a year.

The transfer has raised questions about prison conditions and the management of high‑profile inmates. The incident highlights the broader issue of contraband in federal prisons and the challenges of maintaining security while providing rehabilitation services.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine’s military still lacks full Starlink access, citing a White House‑issued throttle order. The satellite network, run by Elon Musk’s SpaceX, is vital for air‑defence systems against Russian drones. Zelenskyy met EU leaders in Brussels, urging an additional seventy‑billion euros for 2027 defence funding. Trump criticised Ukraine’s strikes on Russian oil refineries, calling them a disgrace. The Pentagon reportedly warned that Starshield, the military version of Starlink, had been slowed to prevent drones exceeding one hundred miles per hour from using it.

The Ukrainian president described the speed reduction as a dangerous surprise, stressing that the service remains essential for battlefield communications. EU officials confirmed that the White House had signalled a return of full capabilities, though the exact timeline remains unclear. The incident underscores the strategic dependence on U.S.‑controlled satellite infrastructure amid ongoing conflict.

Masked Israeli settlers assaulted Palestinian olive harvesters in the occupied West Bank on Friday, injuring several people, including an American photojournalist for The Washington Post. The photographer, Heidi Levine, was wearing a press vest when she was beaten, kicked, and had her cameras and phone torn from her.

Medical staff rushed her to a hospital, where she received care. Israeli police acknowledged the incident and pledged an investigation, while the U.S.

Embassy in Jerusalem condemned criminal violence and called for arrests and convictions. The attack followed a pattern of settler violence earlier this month, when an AFP photographer was beaten near Aqraba. Palestinian journalists and advocacy groups have labeled the assaults as a threat to press freedom and a violation of international rules protecting journalists in conflict zones.

The Los Angeles Dodgers’ quest for a third consecutive World Series title collapsed after a one‑sided National League Championship Series sweep by the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Brewers outscored the Dodgers twenty‑one to nine and outhomered them seven to one, exposing gaps in speed, defense, and pitching that the Dodgers’ front office must address. Manager Dave Roberts admitted the team was outplayed in every facet, while star Shohei Ohtani’s emotional home run highlighted the frustration that permeated the clubhouse.

With the loss, the Dodgers face a reassessment of their roster strategy and the future of their star‑powered lineup. The franchise must decide whether to rebuild or retool to regain its competitive edge in the coming seasons.

Lamar Jackson, the Baltimore Ravens’ dynamic quarterback, will miss the upcoming game after sustaining an ankle injury on October fourth.

The injury has sidelined him for a second consecutive week, prompting head coach Jesse Minter to name Tyler Huntley as the starting quarterback. Huntley, who completed twenty‑four of thirty‑two passes for two hundred‑one yards with two touchdowns last week, is expected to lead the offense against the Cleveland Browns.

Other key players, including left tackle Ronnie Stanley and tight end Matt Hibner, also missed Friday’s practice. The Ravens will issue a final injury report later today, but the focus remains on Jackson’s absence and Huntley’s readiness to step into the spotlight.

The Climate Prediction Center released its winter outlook for December 2026 through February 2027, noting a very strong El Nino will shape U.S. weather. Forecasters say the jet stream will shift southward and eastward, increasing storminess across the southern tier while the northern tier experiences warmer-than‑normal temperatures. Drought‑affected areas may see relief, but heavy precipitation on dry soil could trigger flash floods and mudslides. The outlook also predicts a stronger, more stable polar vortex, reducing Arctic air outbreaks but not eliminating cold snaps. Communities are urged to prepare for wetter conditions, especially in the Southwest, Southeast, and East Coast.

The forecast covers December, January, and February, the meteorological winter months, and emphasizes regional differences in temperature and precipitation.

Preparedness plans should address potential flooding and infrastructure strain as the nation faces a wetter, stormier winter season.

Katie Zacharia’s inaugural week as White House press secretary has been fraught with controversy, drawing sharp criticism from Fox News hosts and raising questions about her qualifications.

After a brief debut briefing, Sean Hannity repeatedly challenged her on Fox, labeling the session as “widely panned.” Zacharia defended herself by admitting she had “very little prep time” and revealed she had not passed the bar exam, despite the administration’s claims of her legal background.

The scrutiny intensified when her briefings were followed by calls from former deputy press secretary Sarah Matthews, who warned that colleagues might be “absolutely livid.” Meanwhile, White House communications director Steven Cheung publicly defended her, suggesting she could become a “great” figure by the end of the term. The debate highlights the administration’s struggle to balance political loyalty with professional competence.
