Two days before publication, the BBC obtained Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir, a 367-page account that lays out appalling details of abuse by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, and renewed allegations against Prince Andrew—claims he has repeatedly denied. Giuffre writes she had sex with him three times, including what she calls an “orgy” on Epstein’s island, and recounts medical distress afterward. The book describes sadomasochistic sessions, fear, and physical decline, as well as Maxwell’s role in recruiting her and arranging their meeting. Giuffre voices disappointment at Epstein’s death and a hope for accountability.

With a Monday night doubleheader still ahead, a Week 7 waiver rundown spotlights widely available options. Giants QB Jaxson Dart set career highs with 283 yards and three TDs, plus a rushing score, while Bengals QB Joe Flacco has five TDs and no picks in two games. Marcus Mariota is on waiver radar as Jayden Daniels undergoes a hamstring MRI. Notables include Bears RB Kyle Monangai amid a new committee, Chargers TE Oronde Gadsden after a 164-yard outburst, and Bears rookie TE Colston Loveland stepping in after Cole Kmet’s back injury.

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels left a 44-22 loss to the Cowboys with a hamstring injury, drawing a plea from his mother, Regina Jackson, for fans to stop 'manifesting RGIII' comparisons. Daniels, who recently returned from a left knee injury, was hurt on a third-quarter strip-sack by Jadeveon Clowney, ruled out, and will have an MRI Monday, coach Dan Quinn said. Robert Griffin III replied on X that he supports Daniels and knows the D.C. spotlight. Before exiting, Daniels threw for 156 yards with one touchdown and ran for another.

Antenna says Disney+ and Hulu churn jumped in September, coinciding with Jimmy Kimmel’s brief ABC suspension. Monthly cancellations rose from 4% to 8% at Disney+ and 5% to 10% at Hulu, a break from typically steady rates; Netflix stayed near 2%. A Disney source cautioned the figures may be inflated, muddle plan changes, and that many cancellations quickly reversed. Kimmel was pulled after a Sept. 15 remark went viral, then returned after less than a week, as social media urged Disney+ cancellations and his show’s ratings soared.

Despite a 1-6 start and a 31-6 loss to the previously 1-5 Browns, no immediate changes are expected for the Miami Dolphins, per Ian Rapoport. Owner Stephen Ross planned to give coach Mike McDaniel and GM Chris Grier the full season before deciding on their futures. With Week 8 at Atlanta and a short-week visit from the Ravens, moves may wait until after Thursday night in Baltimore. Ross faces criticism and fan unrest, amid talk of draft positioning and a past allegation he offered Brian Flores money to lose games, which Ross called a joke.

After a wave of nostalgia-fueled superhero cameos, Spider-Man: No Way Home left fans expecting Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield to return. Nearly four years later, Sony’s live‑action universe has stalled—Madame Web, Morbius and Kraven the Hunter fizzled, rumors say the SSU is “dead in the water,” and Tom Holland’s films feel more MCU than Sony. Maguire says he’d say “yes” to reprise the role; Kirsten Dunst is open to Mary Jane’s return; Garfield doubts The Amazing Spider‑Man 3 will happen. The article argues resurrecting past Spider-Men may be Sony’s last, best play.

Chinese leader Xi Jinping opened a four-day Communist Party meeting with a speech on draft proposals for China’s 2026–2030 plan, though Xinhua offered no specifics. The blueprint arrives amid a sluggish economy, foreign curbs on latest technologies, and high U.S. tariffs. A Xinhua editorial urged “high-quality” growth, technological innovation, stronger national security, and fairer sharing of gains, while warning of “hardships,” “major tests,” and new risks. About 200 voting and 170 alternate Central Committee members are set to approve the draft, with fuller details expected at the legislature’s next annual session in March, as analysts and investors watch for clues.
