At Marvel Television's New York Comic-Con panel in October 2026, actor Charlie Cox addressed the official confirmation that 'Daredevil: Born Again' will conclude with its upcoming third season in 2027. Joined by former 'Defenders' co-stars Krysten Ritter and Finn Jones, Cox humorously warned about the potential passion of the fanbase by noting that nobody wants to invite the 'wrath of the Save Daredevil people.' While the third season will wrap up the current narrative arc following the Mayor Fisk storyline and a mini-reunion of street-level heroes, Cox expressed optimism that Matt Murdock could still appear in future Marvel Cinematic Universe projects. The announcement was met with a mix of fan shock and discussion, though production crews and executives have emphasized that the series was designed to close out its natural story arc.
