Industry reports indicate the film is approximately ten million dollars away from overtaking Star Wars: The Force Awakens as the highest-grossing film of all time in the United States and Canada. The feature has amassed roughly nine hundred twenty-three million dollars domestically, while the reigning record-holder stands at nine hundred thirty-six point seven million dollars. Analysts project the Marvel release could become the first film in domestic history to surpass the one billion dollar threshold. Globally, the production has crossed the two billion four hundred million dollar mark, securing its position as the third-highest-grossing movie in worldwide history behind Avatar and Avengers: Endgame. Sony Pictures Entertainment chairman and CEO Ravi Ahuja noted that the studio did not forecast results of this scale, attributing the commercial success to strong emotional audience engagement.
