Hollywood star and humanitarian Angelina Jolie made a surprise visit to the heavily shelled Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, arriving at a local boxing club alongside her son, Knox. The visit to the northeastern city, which sits close to the Russian border and faces regular artillery and missile attacks, was confirmed by the Boxing Federation of Ukraine and club administrators. Officials stated Jolie and her son visited the Spadkoyemets boxing club. Knox participated in a Muay Thai training session alongside local athletes and Ukrainian defenders. Jolie, who previously served as a special envoy for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, has made multiple trips to Ukraine since the full-scale Russian invasion began in February 2022. Footage and photographs of the unannounced appearance at the Kharkiv facility were shared publicly by the Boxing Federation of Ukraine, drawing widespread international attention across social media platforms following the unannounced humanitarian journey.
