San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York was arrested over the weekend in East Palestine, Ohio, during an undercover operation conducted by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force. Court records indicate that York responded to an online prostitution advertisement and agreed to exchange one hundred forty dollars for sexual activity before being apprehended while driving to the designated meeting location. Prosecutors initially charged York with engaging in prostitution, but the count was subsequently amended to disorderly conduct. He was also charged with possessing criminal tools for utilizing a cellular phone to coordinate the arrangement. York pleaded no contest to both misdemeanor offenses, resulting in a one-day jail sentence satisfied by time served, an eleven hundred fifty dollar fine, and a five thousand dollar bond release. The San Francisco 49ers franchise declined detailed public comment, noting that the legal matter has been formally resolved by the municipal court.
