Rep. Al Green filed an impeachment resolution Monday accusing President Donald Trump of abusing presidential power through federal immigration enforcement. H.Res. 1486 alleges that Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection operated without accountability and cites four deaths during enforcement operations, according to Green’s office. The filing does not itself impeach Trump; it is a congressional resolution seeking impeachment for alleged high crimes and misdemeanors. Separately, Air Force Maj. Jason Watson was formally charged Monday under the Uniform Code of Military Justice after two arrests linked to public criticism of Trump. According to a charging document shared with CNN, Watson faces three Article 88 counts involving alleged contemptuous remarks, five Article 92 counts alleging disobedience of orders, and two Article 133 counts alleging conduct unbecoming an officer. The Air Force confirmed the charges and said Watson remains in pretrial confinement. Both developments remain subject to legal proceedings.
