Artificial intelligence pioneer Anthropic PBC is preparing an initial public offering that could exceed SpaceX’s historic market debut. Company bankers have informed prospective investors that the upcoming offering aims to raise over one hundred billion dollars, targeting a staggering two trillion dollar valuation. This milestone would more than double the company's previous June valuation of nine hundred sixty-five billion dollars. SpaceX currently holds the record with an eighty-five billion dollar raise and a one trillion seven hundred seventy billion dollar valuation achieved earlier this year. Founded in 2021 by Dario and Daniela Amodei alongside former OpenAI executives, Anthropic develops the Claude model family and Claude Code developer assistant, driving projected annual revenues to forty-seven billion dollars. To support expanding infrastructure, the company recently hired former Google tensor processing unit leader Amir Salek to build an in-house custom semiconductor business, addressing ongoing industry shortages and securing long-term operational scaling capacities globally.
