Two separate brush fires erupted on Saturday evening along Soledad Canyon Road south of Agua Dulce in Los Angeles County, triggering an aggressive second-alarm emergency response. According to local first responders and dispatch reports, the blazes broke out shortly before 6 p.m. in the 10900 block, quickly spreading uphill at a moderate rate and threatening nearby structures. The northern fire expanded to eight acres within minutes, while the southern blaze grew to four acres. Ground crews and aerial firefighting resources were immediately deployed to establish containment lines. This sudden dual outbreak follows the recent Rover Fire, which prompted temporary evacuation warnings in the same region. The National Weather Service issued urgent heat advisories for the Santa Clarita Valley, warning that temperatures could reach up to 107 degrees Fahrenheit in coming days. Officials stated that the exact cause of both fires remains under active investigation by local county fire officials today.
