Myles Gaskin, the University of Washington's all-time leading rusher, announced his retirement from the NFL on Wednesday night. He concluded a seven-year professional career spent primarily with the Miami Dolphins . The 29-year-old running back finishes with 1,360 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on 367 carries, adding 102 receptions for 712 yards and six scores over 47 games . A seventh-round pick by Miami in 2019, he later played for the Rams, Vikings, and Seahawks . Gaskin’s retirement announcement highlighted his intent to mentor young players, writing, "What I will do is give all the game you gave me to the next generation" . He retires as a Husky legend, amassing 5,323 rushing yards and 57 touchdowns, a legacy that began as a freshman MVP and established him as one of the most durable backs in program history .
