Von Miller Agrees to One-Year Deal with Dallas Cowboys

Eight time Pro Bowl linebacker Von Miller has agreed to a one year contract with the Dallas Cowboys for his fifteenth NFL season. The thirty seven year old edge rusher announced the agreement on social media Sunday evening. Miller enters the season as the active career leader in sacks with one hundred thirty eight and a half, tied for ninth in NFL history. Selected second overall by the Denver Broncos in twenty eleven, he won Super Bowl fifty MVP honors and later captured a second title with the Los Angeles Rams. Last year, Miller appeared in all seventeen games for the Washington Commanders, recording nine sacks. He joins a Dallas pass rush aiming to improve following a disappointing previous campaign and a two year playoff drought. Miller is a native of DeSoto, Texas, and played collegiately at Texas A&M. He does not plan to wait for training camp to conclude.
