ESPN Analyst Matt Miller Charged With Misdemeanor Over June Crash

Jasper County prosecutors in Missouri have formally filed a Class A misdemeanor charge against ESPN NFL draft analyst Matt Miller following a severe vehicle collision on June 17. According to court documents reviewed on Monday, the media analyst is officially accused of failing to drive on the right half of the roadway. Video footage captured Miller vehicle drifting across the center line of a state highway and colliding with an oncoming truck. The severe crash resulted in major injuries, forcing medical professionals to amputate Miller left arm during emergency surgeries. Miller is currently on indefinite medical leave from ESPN to focus on physical recovery and rehabilitation. He is scheduled for an initial court appearance in the Jasper County Circuit Court on September twenty first. If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of up to one year in jail. Meanwhile, a separate financial investigation by state authorities remains active today nationwide.
