In New York, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" dominated the theatrical box office with $144.5 million domestically in its second weekend, bringing its 10-day global total to $1.67 billion. Mid-budget counterprogramming struggled, as Universal’s comedy "One Night Only" debuted to $5.7 million and Fox Searchlight’s "Super Troopers 3" opened in fourth place with $4 million, according to studio estimates.
