Cupertino firm plans iPhone clipboard sharing with Windows

Apple is developing a system to let users copy content on an iPhone and paste it on a paired Windows PC, and vice versa, by granting controlled access to the iPhone’s pasteboard. The feature would extend Apple’s existing cross-device clipboard beyond its own ecosystem to third-party devices. The work follows an interoperability request submitted by Microsoft under European regulations. Technical details, release timing and device compatibility have not yet been confirmed by Apple, and the functionality remains in development.
