The Los Angeles Dodgers acquired two-time reigning American League Cy Young Award winner Tarik Skubal from the Detroit Tigers in a blockbuster trade deadline deal. President of baseball operations Andrew Friedman and manager Dave Roberts confirmed the transaction on Sunday. To complete the trade, Los Angeles sent right-hander River Ryan, outfielder Zyhir Hope, and pitching prospect Brady Smith to Detroit.
