Los Angeles: Rafaela’s two homers lift Red Sox
Tap title to read story
In Los Angeles on Friday night, Boston’s Ceddanne Rafaela hit two home runs to provide nearly all the Red Sox offense in a 3-2 win over the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. Boston produced only four hits against Dodgers starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto and the bullpen but converted key opportunities, including an eighth-inning break that led to the decisive run. The victory followed Boston’s strong 21-4 July performance and marked a successful start to August as the club continued its momentum against a top National League opponent.
