CBS Places Tony Romo On Leave After Arrest
CBS Sports placed lead NFL analyst Tony Romo on indefinite leave after his July 23 arrest in Wisconsin on suspicion of operating a vehicle under the influence. Milwaukee County deputies stopped Romo on Interstate 43, citing his driving in a gore area, red glassy eyes, alcohol odor, poor field tests, an open container and refusal of an intoxication test. Body camera footage later showed Romo saying he was coming from a golf course. CBS confirmed former Texans star J.J. Watt will replace Romo, who has a court date set for September 21, 2026.
