Oklahoma City Thunder sign Spencer Jones offer sheet | JQJO

Oklahoma City, USA – The Oklahoma City Thunder have reportedly tendered a two-year, $12 million offer sheet to Denver Nuggets restricted free agent Spencer Jones, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania on Saturday. The contract is described as fully guaranteed, giving Jones short-term security while providing the Thunder with a defined financial commitment as they seek to reshape their rotation. Jones emerged as a notable postseason performer by leading all eligible players with a 69.2% three-point shooting percentage in the playoffs, underscoring his value as a floor-spacing wing option off the bench.

Oklahoma City, USA – The move comes after an active offseason of trades for the Thunder, who are looking to add depth and shooting to support their core group. By pursuing Jones through an offer sheet, Oklahoma City is attempting to strengthen its second unit with a proven long-range threat. Under NBA rules governing restricted free agency, the Denver Nuggets now have until the end of the day on Sunday to decide whether to match the Thunder’s offer and retain Jones on the same terms, or decline to match and allow him to join Oklahoma City under the agreed two-year deal.
