American singer Chris Brown has pleaded guilty to one count of affray at Southwark Crown Court in London, admitting involvement in a 2023 nightclub attack on music producer Abraham Diaw. Prosecutors said the incident occurred in February 2023 at Tape nightclub in Mayfair, where Brown struck Diaw with a tequila bottle. Brown was arrested in Manchester in May 2025 on his return to the United Kingdom and released on a five million pound security bail, allowing him to continue touring. More serious charges, including grievous bodily harm and weapon possession, were dropped. Brown and associate Omololu Akinlolu will be sentenced on October 26, 2026.
