The long-term agreement focuses on securing and co-developing next-generation high-bandwidth memory from SK Hynix, the world’s leading HBM producer, to tackle the growing memory bandwidth bottlenecks that limit advanced AI workloads. By locking in supply of custom HBM, including future HBM4 multi-layer stacks, Nvidia aims to underpin its forthcoming Vera Rubin platform and broader full-stack AI factory architecture with a stable, dedicated memory pipeline for large-scale training and inference systems.
