Iran launched a coordinated barrage of drones and missiles against United States military facilities across Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, and Iraq, in what Tehran described as a punitive response to sustained US airstrikes on its forces. The operation, carried out by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Iranian Army during the twenty-one-week conflict between the two sides, followed the United States Central Command’s thirteenth consecutive night of strikes on Iranian military assets. According to Iranian state media, the assault used swarms of Arash kamikaze drones alongside ballistic missiles and systematically targeted American equipment warehouses, aircraft hangars, fuel tanks, and troop accommodations at multiple bases. Kuwait reported that Iranian drones struck the Al-Adiri camp, the Doha barracks, and the Arifjan camp, while its defense systems intercepted three ballistic missiles, one cruise missile, and ten drones that entered its airspace, causing debris to fall over several areas, resulting in material damage and at least one injury.
