Advantech has introduced new server and network platforms built on AMD’s EPYC 9006 Series processors, aiming to speed deployment of artificial intelligence infrastructure from core data centers to edge environments. Announced on Friday, July 24, 2026, the systems use 6th Generation EPYC CPUs manufactured on a 2-nanometer process with Zen 6 and Zen 6c architectures, offering up to 128 cores and 256 threads per socket. The platforms provide up to 128 PCIe Gen6 lanes per CPU, CXL 3.1 support, and DDR5-8000 and MRDIMM 12800 memory compatibility. Advantech will showcase a 2U 4-node edge server and EATX server board at AMD’s Advancing AI 2026 event.
