Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury forced Polish veteran Mariusz Wach to retire at the start of the eighth round in a non-televised tune‑up bout on Friday in Pattaya, Thailand, ahead of Fury’s planned showdown later this year with fellow Briton Anthony Joshua. About 1,500 spectators watched the fight at the Max Muay Thai Stadium, which will later appear in the Netflix reality series "At Home with The Furys." Wach, 46, has now lost seven of his last 10 contests. Fury, who turns 38 in August, has 36 professional wins and two losses, both to Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk in 2024.
