Nebius shares rose on Tuesday after Nvidia disclosed a 9.3% equity stake in the Amsterdam-based neocloud provider, which is listed on Nasdaq. The company, a major European supplier of AI compute infrastructure, has benefited from surging demand for artificial intelligence services, with its stock up nearly 250% over the past 12 months and a market capitalization of about $46 billion as of Tuesday evening. Nvidia had previously announced a $2 billion investment in Nebius, alongside a broader partnership on AI infrastructure. In March, Meta agreed to spend up to $27 billion on Nebius’ AI infrastructure, while Nebius also secured $775 million in senior secured debt last week.
