Two US Troops Killed, One Missing in Iranian Attack on Jordan Base

The US military reported on Saturday that two American service members were killed and one is missing after an Iranian attack on a US base in Jordan on Friday. US Central Command said the incident raised the American military death toll in the ongoing conflict to 16, with more than 420 wounded since the war began. The attack followed a breakdown last week of an interim ceasefire agreement signed a month earlier, amid a seventh consecutive night of US strikes on Iranian-linked targets. Iran has responded by targeting infrastructure and appearing to strike Saudi Arabia, other Gulf allies, and Jordan.
