Oconto County reports fatal crash and missing Green Bay woman

Oconto County, Wis. — The Oconto County Sheriff's Office reported Sunday that a motorcycle-truck collision at County Trunk Highway S and Schwartz Road in Chase killed a 39-year-old Escanaba man at about 1:30 p.m.; investigators said a truck entered the intersection and the motorcycle struck the truck's passenger-side box. Green Bay authorities and the sheriff's office also this week sought public help locating 40-year-old Elizabeth Steckbauer, last heard from on July 10 at a Green Bay park, described as 5'7" and about 190 pounds with a blue star tattoo on her right cheek; officials asked anyone with information to call the sheriff's office immediately.
