Frisco, Texas: Head Coach Joey McGuire said Tuesday at Big 12 Football Media Days that Will Hammond could start for Texas Tech in Week One against Abilene Christian, pending clearance from team doctors and medical staff; Hammond is a 6'2" redshirt sophomore who has appeared in 12 collegiate games. Lumberton, North Carolina: Jaelyn Hammond was named the N.C.
