Monaco seeks Ukrainian suspect in bombing attempt | JQJO

MONACO -- Interpol on Friday issued a Red Notice identifying 39-year-old Ukrainian national Anastasiia Berezovska as the suspect in a bombing in Monaco that reportedly targeted a Ukrainian tycoon with links to Russia. The notice, posted on Interpol’s website, states that authorities in Monaco are seeking her arrest on charges including attempted murder and other unspecified offenses. It describes Berezovska as having dark hair, being born in Ukraine, and speaking German. The notice also highlights a distinguishing physical feature, stating that she has a tattoo, possibly of a snake, on her right arm running from the shoulder to the elbow.

MONACO -- The Red Notice asks law enforcement agencies worldwide to locate and provisionally arrest Berezovska on behalf of Monaco’s judicial authorities. Interpol’s publication of the notice makes the information accessible to police forces in all member countries, enabling them to detain her if she is identified within their territories. The case centers on the Monaco bombing that reportedly targeted a Ukrainian businessman with ties to Russia, and the listing of Berezovska in the Interpol system formalizes her status as an internationally wanted suspect in connection with the attack.
