Bermuda — Nordic American Tankers Ltd. said on July 2, 2026 that three of its vessels, which had been immobilized in the Arabian Gulf since February 28, 2026, transited the Strait of Hormuz and have returned to international commercial operations, the company reported. The statement noted that crew safety had been confirmed. The company, through a signed release attributed to CEO Herbjorn Hansson and published on FinanzNachrichten.de and other outlets this week, said market conditions are excellent and the ships are again engaged in international business; CFO Bjørn Giæver was listed as a contact and the firm said it will post further information on its website in the coming days.
