A brief public spat has emerged in London between Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and pop star Taylor Swift over live performance claims. On June 22, 2026, during a Foo Fighters concert at London Stadium, Grohl joked that his band calls its tour the “Errors Tour” because they “actually play live,” a remark widely interpreted online as implying Swift relies heavily on backing tracks during her concurrent Eras Tour shows at nearby Wembley Stadium. The comments triggered swift backlash from Swift’s fans. The next night, June 23, Swift appeared to respond onstage, pointedly praising her band and crew for playing live throughout her 3.5‑hour concerts.
