OMAHA, Neb. North Carolina defeated Oklahoma 6-2 in Game 2 of the College World Series finals Sunday, forcing a winner-take-all Game 3 on Monday night. Starter Ryan Lynch tweaked his left oblique midgame, and freshman reliever Caden Glauber entered and finished five innings to preserve the victory. The win kept the Tar Heels' 54-13-1 season alive and gave Glauber a 12-0 record while limiting the Sooners to two runs and one baserunner after the first inning. Owen Hull and Cooper Nicholson homered, Oklahoma fell to 42-23, and both teams pivot to final preparations for the deciding game this coming Monday night.
