Kansas: In Logan County Saturday just after 7:00 p.m., a 1996 Chevy Tahoe driven by 68-year-old Maynard K. Unruh collided with a northbound 1989 Peterbilt semi driven by 15-year-old Cody D. Smith at County Road 430 and Apache Acre; the Tahoe rolled and Unruh was transported to Logan County Hospital and pronounced deceased, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. Kansas: The semi driver was not injured and KHP reported both drivers were not wearing seat belts; on Monday just after 11:30 a.m. in Johnson County a separate crash on Interstate 35 south of 119th involved a 2008 Cadillac DTS driven by 29-year-old Isaiah M. Foster rear-ending a 2021 Toyota Camry, resulting in Foster's death at the scene and minor injury to the Camry driver, per KHP and local authorities.
