OMAHA, Neb. Georgia beat Texas 2-0 on Tuesday at the Men's College World Series in Omaha, eliminating the Longhorns after two losses to the Bulldogs. Dylan Vigue and Justin Byrd combined on a four-hitter, and Georgia scored single runs in the fifth and seventh innings; Texas managed four hits and was held scoreless. OMAHA (continued) — The Bulldogs (53-13) advanced to the Bracket 2 final and must beat Oklahoma on Wednesday and again Thursday to reach the best-of-three championship round.
