Reno, Nevada. Nevada Canyon Gold Corp. and Walker River Resources began a reverse circulation drilling program at the Lapon Canyon Gold Project on June 11, 2026, targeting deeper intrusive-related gold-bearing structures identified during 2025 exploration; the companies planned an initial 10,000 metres of RC drilling with potential expansion depending on progress and access. The companies said this week that the 2026 campaign will combine infill and step-out holes to advance resource expansion and exploration objectives; the program was reported following Walker River's May 27, 2026 news release and will proceed subject to drilling results, permitting and site access, which will inform any future resource estimates and development decisions.
