The Cincinnati Bengals have restructured quarterback Joe Burrow’s contract to create about $10 million in additional salary cap space, the team confirmed this week. The adjustment spreads a portion of Burrow’s base salary over the final three years of his current deal, which runs through 2029, following his five-year, $275 million extension signed in 2023. The move comes after Cincinnati acquired defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence from the New York Giants and signed him to a one-year, $28 million extension, tightening cap flexibility. The Bengals are now focusing on extensions for key 2023 draft picks still on rookie contracts, including Myles Murphy and Dax Hill.
