Area high school teams advance in regional play

Seymour, Wisconsin — On Wednesday and Thursday, June 3-4, multiple Appleton and Green Bay area high school baseball and softball teams recorded wins in regional and sectional play. Xavier's Kyler Bleck pitched a complete game June 3 and hit a three-run double, Little Chute beat Denmark June 3, and Appleton North advanced June 4 after a 9-8 victory. Teams will move toward sectional and state tournaments this week, with Fox Valley Lutheran securing a state berth after a 7-6 win June 4 and Kewaunee posting a 10-0 regional final no-hitter on June 3.
